Before you read this blog, I want you to stop and think about this:
..
What is something you really enjoy doing but never make time for?
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Have you thought of something?
.
.
.
.
.
.
Honestly write it down
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
OR save it in your phone
.
.
.
.
.
OR Tell the person next to you

We need to change the way we think about food…
Had a bad day – consume junk to make oneself feel better
Had a great day – consume junk to celebrate the win
Why do we think like this?
How can we go about changing our perspective?
Does consuming the junk actually fix anything?
Apart from the initial chemical response does it make us feel better?
Why?
.
These are all things we all need to think about.
I’m not saying you have to be 100% perfect 100% of the time but if you do have an emotional response to food it is something you should be aware of.
Try altering your mindset with something different, for example:
Had a bad day – research a weekend getaway destination and make a plan to be able to get there, call a friend/family member to vent or head to the driving range and slog a few balls around.
Had a great day – buy yourself a new top (op shops have great hidden gems if money is tight!), call a friend/family member to gloat or organise yourself a day/half a day/ an hour to yourself it could be to get a pedicure, read a book, walk along the beach anything you want to do to relax and reward yourself.
All of these things could fit into either category for a good or bad day.
What did you write above?
Can you use it to help get you through a tough day?
Is it a good reward for when you have a win?
IT’S ALL ABOUT PERSPECTIVE!
